Will Benson

Chief Executive

Having trained as a secondary school teacher in 1996, Will joined Kids Kabin by chance in 1998.  He first visited the old Kids Kabin shop unit to train the volunteers in how to use a potter’s wheel.  This led to volunteering and then employment as project coordinator.  In 2001 Will became Chief Executive.  In 2005 he spent a year teaching in Mombasa in Kenya.  Alongside the day to day oversight and development of the charity, he has a particular soft spot for anything to do with making and fixing things, bicycles and camping!
